VulnerABility

Analytical segmentation of unpaid bills and detection of vulnerable groups

VulnerABility

The VulnerABility project has the objective of applying and validating a customer segmentation methodology based on their payment behavior that incorporates the concept of situation of vulnerability.

This methodology consists of cataloging and evaluating the main socioeconomic indicators published in open data sources to determine their explanatory potential regarding vulnerability and identify those with the greatest relevance.

The initiative has made it possible to characterize the invoice collection and recovery procedures and bonus policies and access to solidarity funds implemented in Aigües de Barcelona through coordination with the DPO teams of Aigües de Barcelona to ensure the feasibility of the project at a legal and compliance with existing data protection restrictions.
