With the aim of making our management more transparent, and in accordance with the provisions of Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, as well as with the provisions of Law 21/ 2014, of December 29, of the protectorate of foundations and verification of the activity of associations declared of public utility, we have developed this web portal, in order to allow citizens, interest groups and administrations access to information , updated and truthful, about our entity and its activity.

The foundation contracts universities and public research organizations to carry out activities within the framework of research projects related to the integral cycle of water and the environment.

Occupational Health and Safety
The foundation is certified under the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with the requirements set out in ISO 45001:2018 and Article 30 of the Occupational Risk Prevention Services Regulation.
Social Balance
The social balance makes it possible to measure the social and environmental impact of the organization through different indicators, which quantify aspects of democracy, equality, commitment to the environment, social commitment, work quality and professional quality.
R+D+i Management system
The foundation has an innovation management system compliant with ISO 56001:2024 on Innovation Management, which enables it to systematically foster and improve research, development and innovation activities, while integrating them into the organisation’s overall management.
Environmental footprints
Cetaqua calculates, reduces and offsets CO2 emissions since 2015, becoming a carbon neutral center. In addition, since 2019 it also calculates its water footprint.
It has a team of people dedicated to research in the field of environmental assessment and sustainability that carry out feasibility studies that include the assessment of different environmental factors.
Cetaqua’s intrinsic activity has an impact on society, as it seeks to include this vision and environmental concern in all research projects. Likewise, Cetaqua has plans focused on the following areas:
PATRONAGE
The Foundation has the Board of Trustees as its highest governing and representative body. It meets every six months, or on a special basis when circumstances require it.
The Board of Trustees, which supervises and manages the activity of the Foundation both in its economic and scientific aspects, is made up of its founding members or individuals appointed by them.
Composition:
The position of patronage is not remunerated.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Foundation has a management structure comprising the following members: Marina Arnaldos, Jordi Gómez and Carles Valverde.
The management team oversees and directs the Foundation’s day-to-day activities in accordance with the guidelines and decisions adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The aggregate annual remuneration (employer cost) of the members of the management team is €231.544.
