We contribute to the green transition through our 4 lines of research. Our innovative solutions ensure sustainable management of water resources in Chile and contribute to a circular economy in the production sector.
We develop solutions to transform treatment plants into biofactories: making them efficient facilities for obtaining water, energy and materials.
We create methodologies and systems to manage and improve water cycle infrastructures to cope with natural or man-made events.
We develop solutions that ensure sustainable development and people’s well-being.
We use artificial intelligence for water management. We estimate available water resources, water demand and water allocation impacts under high water stress scenarios.
In Cetaqua Chile we take part in R&D&I projects aimed at achieving transformative outcomes. These are some of them:
The Board is the main governing body. It defines strategy, annual plans and budgets, approves major projects and activities, and oversees financial management.
The Scientific-Technical Council is appointed by the Board and acts as an advisory body. It advises the centre on research policies, offers technical assistance, and evaluates business requirements.
In 2017, Cetaqua Chile was included in the Register of R&D Centres in Chile maintained by CORFO, an agency of the Chilean government under the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism.
