Urban water cycle infrastructures may be affected by natural events, such as climate change or deterioration of infrastructures, as well as intentional events.
Cetaqua develops resilient systems and solutions focused on crisis management in order to minimise risks and optimise asset management. We develop methods to predict, detect, and manage critical situations, as well as investment planning systems geared towards reducing future impacts and protecting both people and the environment.
We take part in R&D&I projects aimed at achieving transformative outcomes. These are some of them:
New technologies to respond to emergencies caused by contaminants and pathogens.
New technologies to overcome current barriers to reuse.
Development of a chemometric model that determines the origin of the water or the percentages of each origin in the case of binary mixtures.
